PRISM

PRISM provides modeled weather data at daily, 4km resolution grid cells from 1981 to present. DEVISE includes the following variables: daily total precipitation (rain + melted snow; mm), daily maximum and minimum temperature (degrees Celsius), and daily mean temperature (degrees Celsius). Methods used to develop PRISM metrics can be found in Daly et al. 2008.

Precipitation (ppt)

Daily total precipitation (rain+melted snow) calculated on a cell by cell basis on three temporal scales (weekly, monthly, and annually) with the statistics max, mean, median, and sum.

Minimum Temperature (tmin)

Daily minimum temperature calculated on a cell by cell basis on three temporal scales (weekly, monthly, and annually) for the statistics max, mean, and median.

Maximum Temperature (tmax)

Daily maximum temperature calculated on a cell by cell basis on three temporal scales (weekly, monthly, and annually) for the statistics max, mean, and median.

Mean temperature (tmean)

Daily mean temperature, calculated on a cell by cell basis on three temporal scales (weekly, monthly, and annually) for the statistics max, mean, and median.

Mean Dew Point (tdmean)

Daily mean dew point temperature calculated on a cell by cell basis on three temporal scales (weekly, monthly, and annually) for the statistics max, mean, and median.

Minimum Vapor Pressure Deficit (vpdmin)

Daily minimum vapor pressure deficit calculated on a cell by cell basis on three temporal scales (weekly, monthly, and annually) for the statistics max, mean, and median.

Maximum Vapor Pressure Deficit (vpdmax)

Daily maximum vapor pressure deficit calculated on a cell by cell basis on three temporal scales (weekly, monthly, and annually) for the statistics max, mean, and median.
