DAYMET

Daymet provides modeled weather data at daily, 1km resolution grid cells from 1980 to present. DEVISE includes the following variables: daily minimum and maximum temperature (degrees Celsius), daily precipitation (mm), and daily snow water equivalent (kg/m2). Methods used to develop Daymet metrics can be found here.

Precipitation (prcp)

Daily total precipitation in millimeters calculated on a cell by cell basis on three temporal scales (weekly, monthly, and annually) for the statistics max, mean, median, and sum. Sum of all forms of precipitation converted to a water-equivalent depth.

Maximum Air Temperature (tmax)

Daily maximum 2 m air temperature in degrees Celsius calculated on a cell by cell basis on three temporal scales (weekly, monthly, and annually) for the statistics max, mean, and median.

Minimum Air Temperature (tmin)

Daily minimum 2 m air temperature in degrees Celsius calculated on a cell by cell basis on three temporal scales (weekly, monthly, and annually) for the statistics max, mean, and median.

Snow Water Equivalent (swe)

Snow water equivalent in kilograms per square meter calculated on a cell by cell basis on three temporal scales (weekly, monthly, and annually) for the statistics max, mean, and median. The amount of water contained within the snowpack.
