History and Support
DEVISE was initially developed by Jerod Merkle, Shannon Albeke, and Nick Case from University of Wyoming in co-production with Wyoming Game and Fish Department with financial support from US Geological Survey. Since then, DEVISE is maintained by Will Kirkpatrick, Jessie Shaprio, and Shannon Albeke from University of Wyoming and financially supported by Wyoming Game and Fish Department’s Wyoming Governors Big Game License Coalition, and University of Wyoming’s Wyld-Tech Center for Wildlife, Technology, and Computing, and the Wyoming Geographic Information Science Center.
